Roy Clark

      Country western singer, Roy Clark, became the 63rd member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1987. In addition to these regular radio broadcasts, he starred in the television show Hee Haw for 23 years and has made appearances on hundreds of other programs as diverse as Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts, The Muppets, Kraft Music Hall and Larry King Live.
      Clark has also established himself as a star on foreign television. His various music shows and specials have aired in Great Britain , Bulgaria , the (former) Soviet Union, the Bahamas and France .      
A recipient of a “Star” placed in Hollywood Boulevard ’s Walk of Fame (TV category), Clark was also the first National Ambassador for UNICEF and has received Honorary Doctorates of Humane Letters from both Brown and Baker Universities .
      In 1993, Clark has released two albums, completed an autobiography for Simon and Schuster and filmed a documentary video of his life and career.
