William D. Griffith *

      William D. Griffith worked in public relations for Goodyear. Before his radio days, he worked for the Akron Times Press. He was a radio announcer and sportscaster on both WJW and WADC. He was responsible for bringing Cleveland Browns games to the Rubber Bowl. He operated his own sports promotion agency from 1946 until 1968.
